im a happy boy

whee, im feeling happy. happy but strange.

yesterday was seraph's HTHT and stayover session. we stayed over at hall 16, cuiyi and lixiang's room. HTHT-ed the whole night, drink, drank, and drunk.. played alot of stupid games, played alot of stupid forfeits, and let out all of our deepest and darkest secrets. haha, the past, the present and the future. nothing escaped the reality of a HTHT session (:

shoot, shag and marry was the starters and lets say the interesting part of the night, cos from that game all the forfeits and stuff comes out! haha, well the game master was a wonderful secretary so everything was jotted down and here i am with the list of people and their shoot, shag, marry choices. it should be up for everyone to see soon. (:

after we all got high and drunk, secrets were out so easily. i was high but not drunk so i can remember things (: hehehe, i have your secrets guysssss.. :P hahaha, was quite funny lah seeing some people got really drunk :P but it was really a fun night i wanna thank all the people who came! Daniel who gamemastered the night! without you we wont be so high! Ivan who came with the belvedere and the ice! no ice no alcohol no high. :p the seniors! Ed, Kai, Calina, mingwei and junhong! the freshies! Yingjie, Siowkee, liuyin, xinyi, cass, din, farid, andy, zf, jj, chengxi, zuxing! the hosts lixiang and cuiyi for the room that we all wrecked havoc in, and the latecomers jolyn and wenqi that came even after the tiring supperhop :P YOU ALL made my night. it was damn fun.

what followed in the morning and afternoon is not much so. not at night though (:

this week was filled with lectures, and printing notes, and meeting og mates for lunches and dinners (: first week of school finally over, i still havent got my nice timetable plan yet, time to beg to the course coordinator. some lectures are practically boring and the lecturers not bright. next week will be full with tuts and seminars and labs i dont know how im gonna survive. cmon dhika! (:

oh, last sunday was NDP performance and we went to watch the fireworks! it was a fun day with such a big turnout! whee, a successful outing! (: movie was super nice i totally love it. G.I joe! the company was superb so totally was a fun fun day (: i hope we can have more outing! (next time freshies organise already)

then the saturday was pa dinner! met up with the old guys and the new kids too! counting 5 batches down there (: i hope we can stay as bonded as ever! :D whee, i love my cca.

ohh! met wenqi during the dinner as she was going for practice, im gonna go for your concert girl! (:

next week is cca fair and stuff. BUSY BUSY i hope got time to do tuts and stuff. saturday is dancetitude im looking fwd to watch it (:

its always the hardest to start again..

i meant writing again on the blog after such a long time of no update. this windows live writer program has been on my screen since this afternoon around 3pm, and now is 9:46pm and i just started writing the 1st paragraph of the blog. well, they say starting is the hardest, and after that it will be easier (:

come to think about it.. when was the last one. 24th july. 2 weeks ago. hah, not so long O.o but i felt like it was very long already. ahh, must be the fact that i came back to indo for one week that distorted my sense of timing. i already say time runs much slower there than here. 1 week of me back in indo, spent most of the time GOING OUT with my family. (and i thot i will relax and rot at home). there was not a day of just relaxing in the house! haha. but yeah, nice to see them again and know that they are healthy and well (:

i got my driving license too! haha, wait, ill take a photo of it..

emm, the process was quite boring.. took my half a day to get it.. boring and long queue summore. but made a few friends thru the process. well who wouldn't, all those waiting time, just sitting around doing nothing except queuing. lets see, throughout the 5 hrs of the process, i spent 4hrs 30 mins waiting i guess. -.-" nvm, no point complaining now. haha, well, i made, emm 6 friends! (or i should say acquintances), all girls :p (tell you what the guys are plain boring) XD

(okay, writing process got delayed, frend came into the room, did laundry, played the guitar, nows 1:17am already)

and i just lost my train of thoughts.. i thot i wanna write something else about what i did in indo but i forgot already.. nvm, continue..

went back to singapore and guess what i did. stayed at home and played dragonica days by days.. hahaha, NO LIFE, HELP ME! ): up till today im still playing like almost everyday, and facebooking -.-" oh man.. oh except wednesday though!

wednesday was kong's bday! haha, so we went to pasta de waraku to celebrate, ate dinner, blow candles and sing song (: haha, hey kong the present coming soon k just wait for it first.. HAHAHA.. anyway, move in tmr so i can return my keys without worry being scolded cos my room is messy :D

After that me and some of the seraph guys and girls went to phuture! well, ALOT pangseh ): at first there were me, ed, andy, jj, daniel and samuel only! (yeah gay party that night was what we thought) well, ditching the phuture plan was almost there! but we decided to go along. well, denise! (who at first say cant go but suddenly shes going :D) brought her fren along! (and shes quite chio) XD haha.. so yeah, lucky break there. if not how i explain to my freshy guys.. hahaha, PHEW! then later at night lixiang and cuiyi also came along (finally more girls) although phuture was full house and it took almost forever to smuggle them into phuture. sweat. it was a FUN night, i totally enjoyed it. (and i hope my freshies does too!) thanks to those who come that night to make it better! (and special thanks to denise's fren! :p)

came back hall at arnd 6:30 in the morning. saw 4 people in my room sleeping. i decided to wait till they wake up, and guess what i did. DRAGONICA. yay no life.

okayy, thats about all. though theres some funny things happening lately. altho random ppl adding me on fb is a common thing, but now its getting more! msn, sms, calls, meetings. oh man, i never had this before -.- hahaha.. okay tmr is my first random meeting. i.. emm.. weird.. nvm.. lucky theres PA dinner tmr (: (and maybe soon this can turn into one of the episodes for my how i met ur mother XD, if it gets interesting enough :p)

camp finally ended

these 5 days seems so damn short and suddenly it came to an end. kinda sad cos i love my OG! ♥seraph.

i dont want to update about the camp now though, since all the photos are with ed. so maybe sometime later after i can catch up with my sleep.

oh yea, just to tell you, dont come near me, our camp got positive H1N1 so yeah i might be infected already :\ hahaha, i hope noone from seraph got sick!

my voice is totally gone. probably since the second day. but kept shouting till theres nothing left. dead.

i sincerely hope my new og will stick together like how my og sticked together. jiayous! (if not i fail as a GL ): ) haha.. oh ya, some camp achievement. ed = best male GL, din = best male freshie, mingwei = best male programmer. well, 3 out of 8 achievements all from our big family. not bad eh (:

Senior camp!

Just had my senior camp for insinyur 2009 yesterday. Well, to be honest it was really quite fun and it brought up the camp feeling on me again! yesterday i was enjoying the camp and believe it or not, looking forward for the camp! hahaa.. games were okay, quite fun, the people are also okay, so yeah, it may be a fun camp. (except that everyone is speaking chinese to me, no matter how many times i told them i cant speak chinese) so.. yeah, ill just pretend i understand from now on. (luckily i got translators..)

anyway the highlight of the day is of course the freshie allocation! haha, was looking forward to it since the start of the day. well, after we got the freshie list..... (well, i cant really say how good/cui they look for the reason of one in a thousand chance one of them will read my blog)quite cui but okay lahh.. not bad? thats a good description.. hahaha..

too many applicants, so we cut down the number by more than half. and because of that, finally the guy/girl ratio is 1:1.. hehe, not bad lah.. it wont be a weirdly gay camp.. (but engin girls.. tskkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk) hahahaa, well, im excluding poly engin girls in that description of course ^^ hahahaha.. np!

there was one super funny application form, because the photo size was 4R, (when its supposed to be passport sized) and the photo was a zilian one.. hahaha, everyone crowded around to look at it. WELL, the good thing is that the girl in the photo is quite chio (by quite chio, i mean maybe the chio-est in the whole camp but yeah, still QUITE good only) hahahaha.. :P and i shall post the picture here! (of course, not revealing her face lah:P)

haha, and yeah, thats more or less it. ive called everyone that i need to call.. (well i told them my name is ryan cos i planned to be fake freshie) but i think i wont do it already. lazy. hahaha. the bad part is that we also need to call the rejected ones. sigh, very lazy to call them and tell them they are rejected. -.- and very scary too..

these past few days ive been playing badminton! oe got his new racket, and everyone is so enthu abt playing badminton. wh is getting his racket soon, and we can play like almost everyday. yay! hahaha. finally some sport in action again!

oh and i realized ive been using my contacts for arnd 2 months! so i went to change it, only to find out that i only got the blue colour left! haha, so im wearing blueee now. its so obvious even from afar. blue eyes! (blue eyes white dragon, thats so yu-gi-oh:P)

stumped upon this article at lifehacker (one of the sites other than facebook and blogs that i still go to everyday), about something that i've been wondering since quite long ago. i thought it was a myth, and i wonder why people are so stupid to follow it, till i hear the scientific explanation for: HANGING WATERBAGS! (or even ones on the tables)

houseflies, being highly edible and defenseless, are nervous types, and don't like to sit still when they see something moving nearby, because it could be a predator. The water bag acts a bit like a lens--try it some time--in which the movements of people in the area are reflected. Even if the fly is too far from the action to see it directly, it can see a shifting of light and dark in the water bag, which it interprets as nearby movement, and it will fly away from the bag. The reason it doesn't work on any other insects is that the other insects listed don't have eyesight worth a plugged nickel.

SO, now we know.. (: heh, also tried this new website (maybe not really new), recommended by lifehacker too, its called www.moonfruit.com. its a website where you can create a website, with very simple steps. it has quite a number of editting features, and it seems fun (i, myself still trying it out, will update later with cooler stuff if i find any) for anyone out there who want to create their website, for fun, entertainment, sharing, etc, go to the site! im sure you will like it. anyway, i tried to create a draft site, and here it is!

ahh, so now back to my daily updates.. been slacking for these past few days. started doing useful stuff today (not exactly useful though) worked for singtel MioTV again, this time at vivo city, its just a one day job though. managed to sell one to a malay family. (YEAH FINALLY..) one is enough for me, no more, i dont like selling mio. haha.. but mio is good! i wanna get it later when i have a house. :D

my SIS is coming next week :D she will be staying at my place here. (im still wondering how are we gonna do this, cos my room are full of guys currently) haha, anyway we will settle this later. so next week ill be occupied with entertaining my sis. i also dunno what to do and where to bring her, any ideas? help me! better if you organise then i just join :D hahaha.. okay, thats later on monday.

then week after that is already my FOC, so fast. currently im not really looking fwd to it though. hopefully it will change as the camp draws nearer.

then after that i decided to go back to indo for just one week. (better than not going home at all right..) after so much consideration of the lectures im gonna get if i dont even go back, i decided to spend one week of my holiday home. not that i dont like it, but i dunno what to do there. seriously. just slacking arnd? haha, anyone wanna go with me? :D

yeah, thats some future plans. i hope more interesting things happen. lately its quite boring.. grr..

how i met your 'ma' - S03E05

Inspired by the TV series of 'How i met your mother', i decided to create my own version of 'How i met your ma' by dk. hahaha.. anyway, (ohohoho, this is so funny im quite excited), i shall explain why it is season 3 episode 5: consider the time in indo before i came to sg as season 1, secondary and jc time as season 2, and uni time as season 3! haha, and why episode 5? just anyhow think that i have 4 episodes before this one :D.

well, the series is basically about this guy, Ted, in his 30s, telling his children about how he met their mother (as in his wive). basically its currently now end of season 4 and we havent know who the mother is -.-, well, basically im gonna kop the idea! (hahaha, actually just because i got something to write only.) okay here goes.. my version!

anyway, in case my blog is NOT SO PRIVATE as i would think it is, i shall add something to just discourage non-usual-readers (esp the people in the story..) from reading. :P

it all started when me, kong and yt applied as waiter for this F1 job, and we got called to do the pres birthday job (if you read the post below, you know what im talking in detail.) fast forward to the end of day one, me, kong and yt each have our own eyecandy. well, we nicknamed them stacy, cassandra, and evangeline. (actually yt came up with the names.) talked about it, and thats it, end of day 1 and actually also day 2.

for the side story, i was assigned with this girl that was super irritating (okay, thats an understatement), well, our group become my, kong, yt and this girl. (hahaha, okay in case my blog is NOT SO PRIVATE, i shall not bitch too much :X) all of us basically cant stand her and giving her attitude. haha. okay, things aside.

day 3, on actual day, yt started to get close with her eyecandy, (hmm, should i write it here? haha, okay i should, just like the story talk about marshall, lily, robin and barney too!), and i actually talked abit with kong's one! haha, but just abit. yt doesnt know that the girl shes been hanging with is actually her eyecandy because of the hairdo and less makeup -.-" lousy. haha, basically, she got quite close with her eyecandy. and thats that for day 3.

the story continued on the next training day, saturday. like usual, i was late. so kong and yt left me behind and i got to find my own way to singapore flyer, walking from the mrt (i didnt really know the way, only directions from kong.) so i walked from city hall mrt, decided not to go underground, and cross many red lights, went pass esplanade and towards marina square and finally saw the big ferris wheel. was wearing my earphones, so i just walked faster towards that place cos i was quite late.

saw 3 people walking out of the esplanade mall and infront of me, they were walking quite slow so i followed behind them and was going to overtake them.... until i saw one of them was my eyecandy! :P hahaha... took my step slower and decided not to overtake them. im quite sure they are walking to the place too so i just followed behind them. (and also thinking whether i should like, talk to them or something? :P) then suddenly an army guy stopped them and said something like the road is blocked, please cross the road, the red light is behind. something like that, not quite sure cos i was wearing earphone :P

took out my earphone and asked them whether they are going to flyer too! :P then one of the girl was saying, "hey you're also going there right! i rmbed you from the event, d'you rmb me??", well i said i didnt XD but i rmbed her! (my eyecandy :P) haha, so then we walked together shortly, and decided to take a cab there. haha, was like durian drop on my head, the 1 guy there looked like the friend's bf, so they walked tgt all the time, and i got more time to talk to my eyecandy :P

found out her name, age, school, and some other things. (well actually she initiated most of the qn, CRAP im lousy ): hahaha..) and shortly, we arrived to the training place. they looked reluctant to go in because they think the pay is too low. but they finally went in and registered. i followed behind them, and found kong and yt smiling smiling like crap at me. (apparantly yt was sitting beside her eyecandy), then after registration i sat with kong and yt cos theres one empty seat near them, and the other 3 went to the back.

and suddenly they dissapeared! they pon-ned the training.. :O (and maybe the upcoming job too, cos they looked so reluctant!)

the day after that i went to try to find her online. you know internet these days. cool. haha, and you know im quite well trained in finding people (if you know what im talking about.) well, google skill is useful for everything. :P but i couldn't find her! as wenhao put it, im trying to find my cinderella, without even having her glass shoe. i still couldnt find her at the end of the day.

suddenly, the glass shoe appeared in front of me! the owner of the job agency created a facebook profile and added all the members! kong was telling me about it, and in 1 day, 108 people joined, and i tried to look at them. a familiar face popped up! i thought the photo was the other girl! (luckily i rmb her) and finally! i found my eyecandy from her list of friends! :D i straight away told wenhao and kong that i found the cinderella. :P

and the worst thing happened. status: in a relationship

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.. wenhao told me, instead of cinderella, i found a snow white with the prince charming attached to her. dang. haha, but shes a real eyecandy though. (:

well, shes just an eyecandy though. so, it was nothing much of a reaction. or a big dissapointment. (haha, or so i said :P).

Tried to find the girl, but when i found her, i wish i shouldnt. Well, i guess thats life. Even when everything seems to go on your way, you can never see the end before it happened. No matter how easy it seems, how coincidental and 'fate'-ly everything seems to be, you cant cheat life and predict the ending (: luckily, it goes both ways. when its seems so hard and difficult, dont give up! nobody knows what will happen in the next moment. for all my friends out there, dont give up even when the clouds turn dark, there might be a rainbow waiting at the end of your story (:

yep, and that concludes my 1st post on my new series, how i met your ma! hahaha, i hope this blog is private enough not to embarrass myself the next time i see them :| i also hope they are not kaypoh enough like me to go and search for blogs and stuffs XD haha! one interesting story, and many more to come :D (if you dont think its interesting, too bad for you, its interesting for me XD)

president's birthday banquet!

the title is the main event of the week! haha, me kong and yt went to do waiter/waitressing at holiday inn last thursday for the president's birthday dinner. hehe, well, its both tiring, and low paid. but thats not the important thing, better not skip the story and start in chronological order (:

as im typing this, im feeling the cold wind blowing into the room (: raining soon! but i love this kinda weather! (esp to sleep) just that i just slept more than 12 hrs, so i cant sleep again. and church is starting soon, and im gonna cut my hair too. real soon.

so lets start with, no im not going to update the draft post. too lazy.

haha, this week has been filled with the NUS job, helping Dr. Tan with the ISAGA 2009 conference. well, cant say that everything goes well. theres some trouble between NUS and CMA, and yeah we are the 3rd party that also got the consequences ): i hope our pay is not affected by the trouble. pleaseeee i need that pay :P haha, monday to friday, we sat there, doing ad-hoc job, super easy, super flexible. met alot of professors and doctors and chit-chatted with them. one of the lithuanian professors actually asked us if we want to do an exchange program with their university (: nice people.

wednesday we went to join them in a tour round singapore! haha, at first we went to take the duck tour! XD so lame. duck tour. but yeah, its quite lame afterall, dont bother going. the nice part is only because the vehicle is amphibian :D hahaha. then we split into 3 groups, asian civ museum, national museum, and shopping group. (actually 4 +boeing). after that i went of for the president dinner training, and the rest continued with singapore flyer! oe and pear went up there. (ah i also want to go up there). haha. yeah, and friday was the last day. and thats it! one week job. i want another one of these :\

again, as im typing now, wenhao is watching kungfu panda, so im also watching behind him.. haha, darn funny. i rmbed watching it twice in the cinema..

okay and the next big event that i did is the president's birthday dinner! well lets start from the start, i applied for the f1 waitressing job with yt and kong, and the marc guy from 8X bmw or something called me and offer me this job for $5/hr, well im damn poor and broke that time so i just take it. haha, its tues and wed training, and thurs the real event. on the event itself, i was the beverage server, serving thousand dollars of wines o.O haha, the event was super grand, (well thats where all the money dissapear! :P) roses everywhere, ice carvings, and crazy food. lets see if i remember, restling '01, Dormus aurea '05, another red wine from france '82 which i forgot the name, and a puligny, white wine '95. the event was a thousands, or maybe tens of thousands dollars event. and we are paid $5/hr pathetic.

seeing the president and the ministers up close was not a 'wow' thing or anything like i expected, it all seems just normal like serving another customer (oops..) haha, but yeah, i thought the experience will be 'WOAH PRESIDENT' and it turns out thats not the highlight of the job afterall. ^^(if you know what i mean) the job itself is damn tiring, sai kang all the way, treated like a sweat shop worker, scoldings and cursings, (luckily i was not one of the target to be scolded) well, tried to do everything without talking or complaining (cos thats how things supposed to work in the lower chain of command) anyway i need to get used to all kind of jobs. well, as darwin has pointed in his theory of the survival of the fittest, its not how strong or how good you are. its how well you adapt to your surroundings. adapt, and evolve. make any kind of job your dream job. phew.

worked from 3pm to 3am, carrying heavy stuffs (not as heavy as the speakers and amps and whatever craps last time in showmakers. but seriously very tiring. haha, then we shared company cab and i reached back at hall at around 330am. slept and woke up at 7am for the next morning's job \-.-/ saturday was the training for the f1 event. (well something nice happened to me on the way there :D :D :D) wont tell you what. haha.. and yeah, met the same old people again from the president's job and well, we got to know each other better! hah, and that the most interesting part of the job, actually, meeting new people and new friends! (erm of course better standard than the girls arnd ntu :P) haha..

oh ya, met gerry on my way to the president's event! haha, loong time no seee girl (: tell me when your next performance is k!

now im back from cutting hair and church, and this post is still in my draft. just now thinking of what to add to the post, but i guess some things are better left unsaid. (:

now i need to plan my timetable fast because tmr is the registration day! (i think..)

cant wait for the F1 job though, 2 months, hurry up! :D i hope you will be there!
