things on my mind

why university application must go together with A level exams?! So the student can multitask between mugging for as and applying? (researching universities, getting recomendation, finding scholarships, thinking of what degree, deciding universities, finding the watever teacher in nj, deciding of what country to go, how about fees, etc, etc) and damn alot more that i certainly need time to ponder over.

medicine is impossible in Singapore

guess if i really want to take medicine, i must choose other alternatives, next best (currently i know) is Germany.. free education? US and UK is out of question too due to their outstanding fees.. but look at the bright side, if i can enter yale, princeton or harvard, i can study for free! -.- thats not so bright.. haha.. impossible is something.. germany, need to learn the language for another year, and hope that i can master it. Japan, i need to wait another year to apply, another year to do preparation to enter the university (todai?) and if failed the test then too bad. 3 years wasted. China, Peking U (issit?) needa learn chinese. and i dont really WANT to go there. sigh.. taking medicine is so not problematic, cos theres only 1 basic degree, be a GP and then think again.. but my career in medicine seems gloooomy..

if i were to stay in singapore, it will be engineering. what engineering? i have no idea. most likely will be chem E or biomed E (or issit bio E?) hmm, i find it interesting to clone or to grow embryos.. :p mechanical E is always an option too (physics!) and so is computer engineering (my lifelong, currently suspended hobby). electrical engineering sounds not so bad too. haha, thats like just listing.

Other choice will be science degree, but singapore's science, i dont quite trust it so much :p US is the best for science and best for excorting money too. go france or germany again, go work at CERN and take science.. maybe, MAYBE i can find the long awaited higgs boson eh? :p ill be a nobel laurrete ( how to spell that?) and ill be wise not to be racist like.. uh forgot the name.. james something?

my choice is quite limited though.. SMU is out of question cause business and management and law is just not my field. i do like econs, but not for my life.

uh shit. and just to inform the J1s or IPs who wish to apply for overseas through nj, do it early, fast dont wait till the deadline or what. im just stuck in a point that cant do anything else. UK and aussie application had closed. left with US. wait another year to apply? wasted one year of this short life.

gonna find out everything about all this, AFTER As! oh i just cant multitask.. and also thinking whether i should take SAT this december 1st. should i? deadline for application is 30 oct. please give me enlightenment. i need SAT for US and SMU. not my choice, but who knows if something happen? :p

and no, going into a university that is not recognised is not an option. i dont want to waste the year i wasted here just to go back to my old stuck state. i will go somewhere that the old me cant reach.. :p

sigh and its 3 something now. As in 2 days time, i still havent repair my body clock. maybe i should become an engineer :p or a doctor :p both can repair my body clock..
