diffraction thru the glass railing, which has a high refractive index. where blue light with the smallest wavelength have the largest refractive index (n) and the angle of diffraction is found by n1sin(theta)1 = n2sin(theta)2. OH MAN, I JUST DID PHYSICS II TUTORIALS. HAHAHAHAHA.. its like secondary school physics. just with deeper understanding and more complex maths.

.. Not diffraction.. dispersion. The angle where the particular color appears, yes, determined by snell's law.. But as to how the white light became 7 colours.. its dispersion.
Diffration.. requires waves to pass through slits of length comparable to wavelength. Where is the slit here lol..
