PAa

the last of the PA post series (: and its about PAa. XD

the very first idea of forming PAa came after a discussion between some of the PA'0607 members. me, ivan, mingxuan and yibo agreed that our burning passion and love for the cca shouldnt end after our handover. we recognised that as a small and cozy family, within each batch, we are still very close even after the handover. However, there seems to be a lack of communications between new and old batches of PA.

We realized that normally, each batch will at least know and interact with two other batches. their senior batch and their junior batch. and from then, we want to make this small family bigger. we wanted to keep the link between our batch, and the new batch and the subsequent batches. at the same time, we wanted to re-form the link between us and the old and older batches. thats where the idea of forming PAa came from, Public Address Alumni.

We never really did call ourself PAa though. we would prefer to be still called a member of PA. cos that name is what we feel that we belong to. PAa just came across as a new idea to reunite all batches of pa. we automatically consider all graduated batches into PAa, or what we still call as PA. or more well known in facebook as the group njPA past present and future. different names, same purpose.

Maybe the most obvious achievement we had in reuniting the whole pa crew is from our facebook group. the seniors can be as old as 0102 batch, and the current batch is already 0809 batch! (: we all must thank sim xinming for creating this group just for us all.

We have also organised a big outing one time, with quite alot of people attending! it was that time when we ate at nihon mura and then we watched vantage point. beside that big outing, we also have made outings more open to the seniors and camps more open too!

The PA jacket is another thing for all of us to have a common identity. with a turnout rate of 44 crews (and some unaccounted, SORRY!) its quite heartwarming to have pa crew from different batches wearing the same attire. in some ways we have succeded in reuniting the big family.

and so with this, i would like to ask all of you past, present and future njPA crew to join us in reuniting our big family together! especially to the just graduated batch of 0708, welcome to the Alumni family and help us to always connect the crews from the different batches! i would expect to see more outings, more school concerts to attend together, more happenings!

please, do support the effort of bringing the whole big family together! help PAa achieve her purpose (: connect the past and present crews together. we shall move away from the past tradition for only knowing your senior batch, your own batch and your junior batch, and we shall move towards something bigger for all of us to share!

hopefully i will find interesting stuffs to post again starting from tommorow onwards! my tagboard is dead.

OKAY, and today was my own record breaking sales! 10 sony, 2 samsung, 2 cenix, 1 phillips and 1 pentax CAMERA. ahahahah, I LOVE THE CROWD. and i love selling cameras. the job is not so bad when there are customers to serve!

monday will be harmoc concert, i hope it will be interesting and entertaining. (:
