it was a beautiful and brilliant performace! Great music, great jazz, and other types of music im not too familiar with. Once in a lifetime opportunity, for quality music in njc is rare ;p

though we hav not done our best, not as good as what it can be, not as good as the rehearsals, but yep, we've done a good job, great job! (: okay lets reflect back at what we have done wrong.. and what we have done well(:

mx speech
1. no light - system crash, quick response with floodlight.
2. mic feedback - quick response, dunno whats the cause

1st song.
1. guitar no sound - D.I box battery not put in properly. mext time test after changing battery
2. piano too soft - too soft la
3. major feedback - dunno what happen to the cordless. do better.

other songs
1. bass no sound - always never insert the cable properly/volume too soft
2. guitar no sound - volume too low
3. mic feedback - mics too near to stage monitors, dont have this case for rehearsal.
4. mic suddenly no sound - receiver power loose, disconnected. not fast enough response, backstage cant see stage.
5. flute no sound - not close enough to the mic, no rehearsal.

lights
1. wrong position - bass and brass very similar spelling
2. awkward flashing
3. sometimes slow response

nevertheless, everything run smoothly. sound quality was good, EVERYTHING was good! (: thanks to yall crew. this is a job well done..

oh ya, some ushers and ppl who help to pack after the event, thanks alot! saw alot of initiatives from yall, very very appreciated.
you j1s are definitely better than the some of the j2s
dont feel so bad abt urself crew! haha, i know aft event we all looked sian, tired, dissapointed, embarrased, sad, and other things.. haha, but yep, we'd done a great event!

thanks to the wonderful performers too. whose music are just too great, that you covered all of our grave mistakes with your wonderful performances (:

thanks to the supportive audiences, who really enjoy the music that night. sadly, most of the audiences cant really appreciate what made great music. you simply just dissapoint the performers, thats why they dont perform as good as they were during rehearsals.
and thanks to you who showed up there and supported me, that made me really happy.

yea.. and its labour day today! and its nina's birthday, happy birthday!
and tmrw is ryan's birthday! haha.. last year we bought him a t-shirt "sex with me, priceless."

Woke up at 12, realised that i was quite late for some 'appointment', rushed, and went to city hall for my 'appointment'. (;
i dunno to be happy or scared or both
met my ex-hostel mates and schoolmates for dinner at orchard, what a reunion (: ate, played some arcade.
but ultimately, u made me happy. i know ure the one for me.
and go home, type this nonsense things, with a pile of work behind me.. haha.. okay must start doing.. maybe..
